Little Helpers

We didn’t have a lot of money growing up and one of the things I loved doing with my mom was refinishing old furniture. I loved that things could be made new again-given another chance to shine. I found an old chair on the side of the road and was so excited to do that with these guys-they were great helpers! When we had our last cold snap we bundled up one day just to get out of the house-we decided to take a drive to Sucker Lake and watch the swans. It was such a nice break so I thought that would be good inspiration for this chair. To look at it and think of my little helpers and the time we had a magical moment in the freezing cold.
